I'll cover not only the technical aspects of Blender but also my artistic and creative decision-making. This is important because everything ties back to the fundamentals, which is why this tutorial is longer, but also more beginner-friendly. You will need a basic understanding of modeling and texturing, but aside from that, you're all set! Focus on Environment Design In this guide, I focus primarily on building the environments. Although I've included some characters, I won't be diving deep into character concept art or character rigging in this tutorial. The only additional add-ons you might need are HardOps (+Boxcutter, and possibly Simply Cloth if you want to create realistic fabrics). For smooth workflow, an RTX 3000 series graphics card is recommended, and the scenes are saved in Blender 4.3 (though I'll also provide scenes for Blender pre-4.0, which run more smoothly). Essential Tools for a Seamless Workflow To achieve the best results in your projects, you'll need the right tools.
