X-Men - The Complete Schism & Regenesis (2011-2012) cbr | English | 1.51 gb After the events of Second Coming, the X-Men are coming apart at the seams; Cyclops and Wolverine are both natural leaders but they are increasingly divided on many issues, and it is complicating the lives of all the mutants in the X-family. Thus begins the Schism of the X-Men, and the separation of their teams into two distinct factions. The following story arc, Regenesis, explores the ramifications of Schism and highlights the differences in the new status quo. This torrent collects all the relevent pieces of both events plus a little extra prelude and epilogue material. Although the Regenesis stories are not really meant to be in a specific order - more likely, to be read concurrently - I have tried to organize that section in the most coherent order possible so it makes more sense and follows logically. I apologize if I failed miserably, lol! There are five sections in this torrent, organized as follows: 00 The Heroic Age - A self-contained story featuring Cyclops dealing with the fallout of Second Coming. Not strictly necessary but it fits the timeline so I added it here. Contains Uncanny X-Men - The Heroic Age 01 (One-Shot). 01 Generation Hope 01-05, Prelude to Schism - Deals with the teaser of the 5 new mutants at the end of Second Coming, and Hope's quest to locate them in the Five Lights storyline. Contains Generation Hope 01-05, Prelude to Schism 01-04. 02 Schism - The rift between Wolverine and Cyclops boils over, and Hope as well as others get caught up in the mix. Contains Schism 01-05, Generation Hope 06-11. 03 Regenesis - The X-Men emerge from Schism with two divergent paths, and many have to decide who they will choose to follow. Wolverine relocates from San Francisco to Westchester and hopes to rebuild the mansion and school; Cyclops and others stay on Utopia and move forward with their own plans. Pasta Sfoglia cookbook by Ron Suhanosky PDF | English | 43 MB I can understand why Sfoglia might rub up against some reviewers, who want the Italian classics. But for me, a guy who has probably two dozen Pasta books, of one sort of another, this is the only new Pasta book I would buy. I don't need another recipe for Spaghetti Putanesca, and I was really reluctant to buy this book when I pulled it off the shelf at a real bookstore. I said to myself: "You don't need another Pasta cookbook; put it down." Then I started to page through, and every recipe intrigued me. They are not the classics, but do take classic Italian ingredients and techniques and give them a nice little twist. I like making the classic Pizzocheri (buckwheat pasta, served with cabbage, sage, fontina and butter), but it can be heavy, and is not really a "summertime dish." Sfoglia's buckwheat pasta is a take on blini and caviar; not Italian, really, but genius, I think. Other recipe's adhere more closely to true Italian ingredients, but in novel ways. After buying the book, and paging through it, I decided all but a few of the recipes are a must to be tried. The story line also intrigued me: "This guys last name is not Italian, who is he?" Being a half-breed myself, and with a non-Italian last name, I've heard the skepticism over the years about my roots. But I think half-breeds sometimes take to their Italian roots with more of a passion than the pure bred. Huckleberry - Stories, Secrets, and Recipes From Our Kitchen PDF | English | 42.75 MB Even though this book is lovely and has a lot of amazing recipes I can't wait to try, there are some errors. For the blueberry brioche (pg. 108) the weight measurement does not correctly correspond to the volume measurement. It calls for 1 cup + 2 Tbsp of AP flour and equates that to 280 grams. That's incorrect. Same mistake is done for the bread flour (1 cup + 2 Tbsp does not equal 280 grams). I always follow weight measurements, I wish I had checked the volume measurement prior to doing so. It was a dry disaster, wasting over 4 cups of flour and 4 eggs. 1 cup + 2 Tbsp is about 140 grams. I made it over using 140 grams of AP flour and 140 grams of bread flour and it worked. Check recipes prior to starting to ensure weight and volume measurements equate. I also wish there was perhaps a little more explanation for temperatures. Should eggs be brought to room temperature? And how warm is slightly warm milk? Type-A personality kicking in here.
