Sin embargo, por diversas circunstancias de la vida, el proyecto quedo ahí estancado. Hasta que llego el año 2003, cuando Rodrigo Godoy, tras varios intentos por reclutar gente, al fin pude empezar a dar forma a The Winexperience. La banda se formó en un comienzo por Rodrigo Godoy (guitarra y voz), Cesar Rojas (guitarra, fundador de Kintral), Nano Lobos (bateria, miembro de Iscariot) y Claudio Mauna (bajo). Este último fue reemplazado por Julian Moris (bajo). Con la formación completa, comienzan un itinerario que los lleva a forjar experiencias en diversos escenarios en la III región de Atacama, en donde basan su repertorio principalmente en sus propias creaciones y apoyada por uno que otro cover. Luego de exitosas presentaciones al lado de GUISO, THE GANJAS, HIELO NEGRO, PERROSKY, y los mas metaleros BELIAL, los Winexperience se lanzan con todo y es así que comienzan en el primer semestre del 2005 las grabaciones de su primer disco. Antes, habian distribuido entre sus más cercanos un bootleg de sus presentaciones, el cual se tituló "En Vivo y Humeante". Es así que su propuestas novedosa y auténticamente rockera comienza a ganar adeptos ( la Barra del Desierto) y el efecto de sus canciones se hace sentir en cada uno de sus shows, en donde la gente las corea, las vacila frenéticamente y se entregan así a esta fiesta de rock and roll en la que se evocan todos los demonios que llevamos dentro, nuestras experiencias con el alcohol, mujeres asesinas que juegan y destruyen nuestras pasiones, y en la que participan todos aquellos dioses del rock and roll: Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Motorhead, Kiss, MC5, Blue Cheer, Grand Funk, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelín, AC-DC, y muchos más son llamados desde el más allá del rock y se hacen sentir más presentes que nunca con las emociones y sentimientos en nuestras almas rockeras que nos evocan los Winexperience. Siguiendo con las grabaciones de su primer disco, este se grabo en un principio en la histórica estación de ferrocarril de Copiapó, siendo grabado y mezclado entre Abril y Agosto del 2005 en Estudios Ferro, MIC Studios y Ulcera Records de Copiapó por Ian Rojas.. Fue masterizado en Santiago por Carlos González (Sonido Urbano). Luego de una presentación junto a LOS KANÍBALES SURF COMBO anuncian el lanzamiento de su disco. Este disco se titula “Descarga Desértica” y fue editado en forma independiente siendo lanzado en los primeros días de Diciembre en una gran presentación en Copiapó junto a HIELO NEGRO y TRANSEÚNTE, y que contó con la visita de Andres Padilla, cabecilla de la revista Grinder Magazine. En aquella presentación la banda tocó cada uno de los temas del disco los que fueron disfrutados por las 200 personas que asistieron al evento. El álbum obtuvo una gran recepción del público rockero de la región, e incluso la banda empieza a llamar la atención en el ambiente musical nacional, ganando cierto renombre y expectativas por conocer su propuesta. Cerraron el año 2005 con una presentación en el pub La Caverna donde compartieron escena con bandas locales y antofagastinas. En la actualidad, Febrero 2006, la banda esta en proceso de editar su primer videoclip para la canción “Vagabundo Espiritual”, primer single del disco “Descarga Desértica”. Por otra parte, se encuentra en proceso de composición de nuevos temas para un futuro nuevo disco. Mientras tanto, se esperan nuevas presentaciones de la banda, tanto en Copiapó como en otras regiones del país, incluido Santiago.

En su corta trayectoria como les mencionaba, poseen el EP 2008 "Burn" editado inicialmente en formato tape por Kuravilú Records y grabado de manera independiente. Una banda de Villa Alemana: Paraguaplegico.“ Así termina la presentación del disco, una voz lejana y en portugués, intenta introducirnos en una estética imposible de retratar. Paraguaplegico. De un momento a otro estamos cabeceando arriba del teclado. Un segundo de sueño, al siguiente con ganas de matar policías y quemar la ciudad. Ice T style. “A mil los paraguas”. Salvadores. Un día se puede arruinar o se puede transformar en el mejor de nuestras vidas. Un paragua puede ser el punto de inflexión. Un Paragua puede hacer la diferencia. Esta lluvia ácida no dura más de 25 minutos y nos deja desarmados. En otra. Excesivamente en otra. Paraguaplegico se las manda con su nuevo disco: Ex-Sesos. Cada canción es una bienvenida y un paso atrás. Ojo, pueden estar al borde del precipicio. No den ese paso sin antes estar preparados. Un paso atrás y dos pa adelante. The c-box is often full of treasures donated by the visitors. Not too long ago the guys from the band Madre De Dios, or MadrededIos, laid the link to their demo in the Swamp c-box nest. I liked their demo and I wanted to post it but then I was distracted by the too many things I’m running after. So it’s time to do it, as the stoner tunes produced by our Chilean brothers are of the kind that fits the Swamp. MAdrededIos (I'm wriring the band's name as it is written on mypace) started in September 2008 and is made up by Milo on the drums and Jonathan on vocals and guitars. In spite of the fact that there are only two musicians, their dynamic, punkish stoner tracks are full of energy and rich in very cool distorted, fuzzed-out riffs and powerful drumming. Jonathan has a powerful, stable voice and sings in Spanish, a language that to me sounds so good for stoner and desert rock. Also the production/mixing is really good for a demo, as all the instruments are heard very well and balanced and not spoiled. This first demo of theirs is quite good and definitely highly promising. I just think that the contribution of the bass would add even more depth to the guitar parts, although their sound is nice and “dense” all the same. So, here's another powerful contribution of yummi yummi stoner rock from South America, and in particular from that great, beautiful, and recently unlucky, land of Chile. I’m sure many of you have this demo already as Insane Riez posted it some time ago in his stoner gold mine. But if you don’t have listened to it yet, down here you’ll find the band’s link. Last week I happened to listen to some more super cool heavy tunes from that blessed land of Chile. The tunes came from band Profano, a band I was totally unaware of before Cartonpiedra, one of the non-Russian visitors and contributors of the lively Russian stoner rock forum, shared the link of an album by said Chilean band. Cartonpiedra actually introduced Profano as one of the bands which his own band had played with (but I don’t know which band Cartonpiedra belongs to). Profano are four rockeros: Pablo Vial (vocals and guitar), Francisco "Jaiva" Vargas (bass and back vocals), Rodrigo Iglesias (drums and back vocals) and Gonzalo Valdivieso (guitar). This is the line-up listed in myspace so I guess it’s the last one, as a change in it has been announced in myspace for 2009. The band is active since 2002 and released the debut, self-titled album in 2004. The album shared by Cartonpiedra is the second one, Ciudad O Muerte, from 2008. The band announced another album to be released during 2009. Anyway, the album shared by Cartonpiedra is the only one I could find in the web. And it’s worth getting at least this! As far as I could hear from this great album, Profano’s style is a generously psychedelic, downtuned South American stoner/desert rock played with a punk-metal attitude, so it sounds very groovy but often quite heavy. Nice!!! As reported on the Spanish version of Rolling Stones, Profano’s songwriting (in Spanish) is devoted to exploring issues in the relationships among people, problems with family or a woman, or else social issues like metropolitan violence and so on. Social involvement, heavy tunes, great melodies, and great riffage … That’s the mighty Chile Rock! If you, like me, dig absolutely obscure, raw, primitive, wild, filthy black-death metal like in the Spanish Teitanblood or in the New Zealander Diocletian and Vassafor, then you might like also the creepy Wrathprayer from Rancagua, Chile. Wrathprayer's debut demo, In Utter Darkness, was released in 2009 as tape format and limited to 333 copies (just for a change …). A further reissue in 2010 was in 300 copies on black vinyl through label Temple of Abomination. Only two guys playing, God of Torment (on guitar, bass and vocals) and Pestifer Fides (on drums), but … hey! These two metalheads are able to make you plunge in an incredibly dense vortex full of nightmares! Their style and sounds are such that it’s like being into a cave just in the middle of an ancient devilish ritual and being the sacrificial victim! The deep, low vocals are reverberating and hypnotic and the drumming is moltiplicated by echo. All is in darkness, no light no hope … Apparently there’s no official website by this band, apart from the page in Metal Archives. And there’s no news about possiblie full-length releases. Doom from Chile - what a magic phrase ... Lol, actually the name these doomsters selected for their band may hint to a "sport" a few black metallers used to practise some years ago! Capilla Ardiente is a fantastic band from Santiago del Chile, the brainchild of Felipe Plaza Kutzbach and Claudio Botarro who also play in another great Chilean doom band Procession (just listen to their 2009 massive EP The Cult Of Disease and you’ll love them!). Their debut EP, Solve Et Coagula, arrived yesterday with the mail and since yesterday it’s going on my mp3 player in a loop. The album is out on the German label High Roller Records as vinyl and on Eyes Like Snow Records as CD. I bought it through faithful Black Widows Records on-line shop. Now, the joke on their band’s name ... Capilla Ardiente basically means “burning church”! Well, I should be more precise: it actually means “burning chapel”, intended as the place where the recently deceased receive their funeral (namely, their house, a church or any other specific place), usually lighted by many funeral candles. So the atmosphere evoked by the band’s name is surely grim. But there’s no sign of corpse painting, bleak screaming or raw tunes here. Capilla Ardiente are surely vehicles of unholy music but in a form of magic, old-school, traditional heavy doom metal played in a stellar way and adorned with some awesome vocals. The EP is less than half a hour but it’s so good that makes you ask for more! Felipe Plaza Kutzbach and Claudio Botarro are the band’s masterminds and provide churning riffs plus almost opera-like, regal but husky voice and pulsing low bass tones, respectively. But in the construction of the mighty tunes in the two long tracks of the EP the duo is helped by Alejandro Arce from Mar de Grises for powerful drumming and Quincy Hevia for enforcements on the guitar parts. As Ed from Doommantia commented in his review, “there is nothing original here, the sound and style is straight from the textbook of Solitude Aeturnus, Candlemass, Black Sabbath etc but its blended magnificently with influences that seem to come from early Celtic Frost, Mercyful Fate and even Cirith Ungol.” But Capilla Ardiente, as well as the sister band Procession, are new herald bands for heavy doom and their releases are mandatory. Felipe and Claudio are working on a full length album which should be ready during early 2011. This gem together with the coming full-length album by monster Procession should keep any doomster warm in the first winter months. In the meantime, some useful instructions for the perfect doom headbanging: “Even the most stoic listener will move his head in slow motion when undergoing part one, 'Solve'. Humberstone, cuyo nombre se basa en las oficinas salitreras fantasmas del norte de Chile, nace a fines del año 2000 de las cenizas de la banda de death metal Winds Of Darkness, pero a diferencia de esta, Humberstone explora las raíces mas setenteras y psicodelicas del rock, teniendo un sonido oscuro y pesado que recuerda a los abuelos del rock Black Sabbath, aunque también cultivan el sonido mas sludge y doom de bandas como Electric Wizard o Sons of Otis, y el desértico sonido psicodelico y algo mas rápido de bandas posteriores como Kyuss o Down. Un increíble disco, Stoner, Psicodelia, oscuridad, distorsión, velocidad, y también tiempos mas lentos.
