Released in 1972 by A&M, the LP features a muscular set of guitar-fueled hard rock laced with blues. The influence of Lee's friend Jimi Hendrix is prevalent throughout the record. Included here is the superb soul spin "Everybody's Gotta Live" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlxyAlqGQMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9axQuDoP9GI https://daofile.com/go/ha6b73ca7pko
  5. Heart - Bad Animals 1987 (2021) [96kHz/24bit] Country: USA/Canada Genre: Hard rock,Folk rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 40:23 Full Size: 890.6 MB Bad Animals is the ninth studio album by American rock band Heart, released on June 6, 1987, by Capitol Records. The album continues the mainstream hard rock style from the band's 1985 self-titled release, all while enjoying similar success. "Switching from Epic to Capitol with 1985's Heart proved to be a wise move for the Wilson sisters, who experienced a major resurgence in popularity and gained many new followers. Heart's arena rock sound had become even glossier, and the band was selling more albums than ever. But for all its production gloss (courtesy of Ron Nevison) and pop slickness, Bad Animals comes across as sincere rather than formulaic or cynical. From the rockers "You Ain't Too Tough" and "Easy Target" to the power ballads "Alone" and "Wait for an Answer," all of the songs are quite memorable. The folk elements and acoustic leanings that characterized many of Heart's early ballads were long gone, and the Wilson sisters keep the volume high but slow the tempo." Rick Wakeman - The Six Wives Of Henry VIII 1973 (2021) [96kHz/24bit] Country: UK Genre: Prog Rock,Symphonic Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 36:36 Full Size: 813.32 MB Wakeman's first solo album is a fantastic, instrumental journey that brings the historical figures of Henry VIII's six wives back to life again. The Six Wives of Henry VIII is possibly the single greatest keyboard prog album ever written. Every song plays out like a rollercoaster of emotion and adventure, infused with humor and humanity and featuring an array of keyboards that are perfectly woven into complex, full-bodied arrangements. Every time I listen to this album, it brings me joy. Catherine of Aragon, Anne of Cleves and the rest of these storied ladies arrive like old friends. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrdCnU_aOso https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_1FOGuUmfs&list=OLAK5uy_krvIivFlT1tEBmce7FGFD0w_lyaZUY_Po https://daofile.com/go/2mz7ghfpqcg9

  10. Frank Zappa - Sheik Yerbouti 1979 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:11:36 Full Size: 3.48 GB Originally released in 1979, Sheik Yerbouti was Zappa's first album to be released on Zappa Records and contains the FM radio hits 'Dancin' Foot' and 'Bobby Brown' amongst others. Sheik Yerbouti represented a major turning point in Zappa's career. It emphasized the comedic aspect of his lyrics more than ever before, beginning a period of increased record sales and mainstream media attention. Sheik Yerbouti remains Zappa's biggest selling album worldwide with over two million units sold to date. The title is a play on words; Zappa appears on the cover in character in Arab headdress, and the name, meant to resemble an Arabic transcription, is pronounced like the title of KC and the Sunshine Band's 1976 disco hit "Shake Your Booty". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_uaKdGZ8Fo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiQPkfS2Q84 https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/66b1001550576
  11. Frank Zappa - Zoot Allures 1976 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 42:25 Full Size: 2.11 GB Zoot Allures is a 1976 rock album by Frank Zappa. This was Zappa's only release on the Warner Bros. Records label. Due to a lawsuit with his former manager, Herb Cohen, Frank Zappa's recording contract was temporarily reassigned from DiscReet Records to Warner Bros. The album was originally conceptualized as a double LP, but Zappa rearranged, edited, and shortened the track listing to what was eventually released as a single album. Zappa recorded the album after completing a world tour with a band including Napoleon Murphy Brock on tenor sax and vocals, Andre Lewis on keyboards, Roy Estrada on bass and Terry Bozzio on drums. However, this band appeared only on the live track "Black Napkins" with only Bozzio retained to play on the sessions, although Lewis and Estrada contributed backing vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VInuvlshJ4M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvTyL_Sbyn8 https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/66b1001550576
  12. Peter Frampton - Frampton 1975 (2021) [96kHz/24bit] Country: UK Genre: Classic Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24bit] Time: 38:42 Full Size: 823.65 MB Frampton is the fourth studio album by English rock musician Peter Frampton, released in 1975 before he went on tour and recorded Frampton Comes Alive! The most popular songs from the album are "Show Me the Way" and "Baby, I Love Your Way" which became big hits when released as singles from Frampton Comes Alive! The album peaked at #32 on the Billboard 200. The 1975 album is a fascinating record of what was happening immediately before the English singer-guitarist's solo career went stratospheric. This was the album that proved to be the breakthrough for Peter Frampton in America. Frampton was released in early March 1975, just before Peter's 25th birthday, as the fourth solo album by the former member of the Herd and Humble Pie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh4zqMMaRlA&list=RDsDTi9z797Sg&index=9 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDTi9z797Sg&list=PL8a8cutYP7frOpMOujAXctrL240qNogaP&index=5 https://daofile.com/go/tqqhjcgfehxs
  13. The Mothers Of Invention (Frank Zappa) - Weasels Ripped My Flesh 1970 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Blues Rock,Free Jazz,Fusion,Avantgarde Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 39:42 Full Size: 1.69 GB Weasels Ripped My Flesh is the tenth studio album by the Mothers of Invention, released in 1970. It is the second posthumous Mothers album released after the band disbanded in 1969, preceded by Burnt Weeny Sandwich. In contrast to it's predecessor, which predominately focused on studio recordings of tightly arranged compositions, Weasels Ripped My Flesh largely consists of live recordings and features more improvisation. Whereas all but one of the pieces on Burnt Weeny Sandwich have a more planned feel captured by quality studio equipment, five tracks from Weasels Ripped My Flesh capture the Mothers on stage, where they employ frenetic and chaotic improvisation characteristic of avant-garde jazz and free jazz. This is particularly evident on "Eric Dolphy Memorial Barbecue," a tribute to the multi-instrumentalist, cited as a musical influence in the liner notes to the band's Freak Out! Album, who died in 1964. The album also documents the brief tenure of Lowell George (guitar and vocals), who went on to found the country-rock band Little Feat with Mothers bassist Roy Estrada. On "Didja Get Any Onya", George affects a German accent to relate a story of being a small boy in Germany and seeing "a lot of people stand around on the corners asking questions, 'Why are you standing on the corner, acting the way you act, looking the way you look, why do you look that way?'" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB3HdC-Iums https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP-cQa3eEZk https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/66b1001550576

  17. Frank Zappa - Apostrophe(') 1974 (2021) [96kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 31:51 Full Size: 675.03 MB Featuring definitive Zappa cuts ?Don?t Eat The Yellow Snow? and ?Cosmik Debris? among its original nine tracks, Apostrophe(?) was Zappa?s highest-charting album, peaking at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. The Gold-certified album has been remastered for vinyl by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and manufactured for the world at Pallas Group in Germany. Apostrophe (') is an album by Frank Zappa, his eighteenth, released on March 22, 1974. An edited version of its lead-off track, "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow," was Zappa's first chart single, reaching position 86. Apostrophe (') remains Zappa's biggest commercial success in the US. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on April 7, 1976. The album also peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Charts and would end up becoming Zappa's highest-charting album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-p2z8TLRNUQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKzRGcozrKg&list=OLAK5uy_nc9HYIpWVA-HxyhWxcm3OyTEWiyaByx7Y&index=4 https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/66b1001550576
  18. Frank Zappa - Chunga's Revenge 1970 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 40:22 Full Size: 2.01 GB The album introduced a new Mothers of Invention lineup that included former Turtles members Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman, aka Flo and Eddie, as well as keyboardist George Duke, drummer Aynsley Dunbar and multi-instrumentalist Ian Underwood. Frank Zappa's third album within the space of a year, 'Chunga's Revenge' ranges from hard rock to doo-wop and the avant-garde, standing the test of time. "Chunga's Revenge marks the debut of Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan (among several other musicians) with the Mothers, and while their schtick has not reached the graphic proportions it later would, the thematic obsessions of the 200 Motels period are foreshadowed on tracks like "Road Ladies" and "Would You Go All the Way?" Other vocal numbers include the hard-rocking "Tell Me You Love Me," the musicians' union satire "Rudy Wants to Buy Yez a Drink," and the doo wop-influenced "Sharleena." Meanwhile, Frank Zappa's strong instrumental music incorporates Eastern European influences ("Transylvania Boogie"), cocktail jazz ("Twenty Small Cigars"), and the percussion-only "The Clap." Zappa's guitar tone is wonderfully biting and nasty throughout; George Duke provides another musical highlight by scat-singing a "drum solo." 19. Eric Burdon & The Animals - Winds Of Change [1967] (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Psychedelic Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/ 24 bit] Time: 43:49 Full Size: 1.86 GB Winds of Change opened the psychedelic era in the history of Eric Burdon & the Animals -- although Burdon's drug experiences had taken a great leap forward months earlier with his first acid trip, and he and the group had generated some startlingly fresh-sounding singles in the intervening time, it was Winds of Change that plunged the group headfirst into the new music. The record was more or less divided into two distinctly different sides, the first more conceptual and ambitious psychedelic mood pieces and the second comprised of more conventionally structured songs, although even these were hard, mostly bluesy and blues-based rock, their jumping-off point closer to Jimi Hendrix than Sonny Boy Williamson. The band's new era opened with waves washing over the title track, which included sitar and electric violin, while Burdon's voice, awash in reverb, calmly recited a lyric that dropped a lot of major names from blues, jazz, and rock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEfwz5yj2go&list=PLzvDDWXv6E-gLvNF1uGZ98tTobXfPGPa8&index=21 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soYDLTutFWs https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/63fcfe13ee52b

  21. Perfect Storm - No Air (2021) [44.1kHz/24bit] Country: Netherlands Genre: Progressive Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/ 24 bit] Time: 53:46 Full Size: 611.28 MB It is quite unbelievable that this is their debut album, it's like this band could have been settled in the progressive rock scene for years already. Their biggest strength is the style they play, catchy progressive rock, full of surprising twists, turns and breaks. A perfect balance between instruments and vocals, and with lots of diversity, both within the songs themselves and between the different tracks on the album. Mixed into their sound is also a bit of AOR, alternative, electric and jazz. The overall theme of the album is relationships. With yourself, others and the world around us and everything that comes with that. Fear, insecurity, judgements, the challenges of letting go, and of course hope. The lyrics, music and vocals grab you from the start of "No Air" and everything manages to stay interesting till the end of the album. The album contains seven songs within 54 minutes, giving the tracks time to expand and grow, it's just the perfect lengths for the songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZVoLVd7J8I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFFUtSiK6zI http://dsht.link/d/4vsR
  22. Budderside - Spiritual Violence (2021) [96kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 35:56 Full Size: 782.81 MB Hard rock band Budderside can make a claim that very few other artists are able to make - being signed by one of the biggest names in rock 'n roll history, the late Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead. The band's vocalist Patrick Stone was a roadie for the legendary metal band for years, which lead to the signing. The band offer a modern take on the classic hard rock sound, bringing a fresh new take on the popular genre. The album, recorded with legendary Grammy Award-nominated producer Jay Baumgardner (Bush, Godsmack, Papa Roach) and mastered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage), is a 10-track inferno showcasing the band's reinvigorated new line-up with blaring riffs, crushing blast beats and catchy vocal melodies geared to set listeners into a frenzy across the globe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irXdmfb4uGI&t=1s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJty-GHMHto http://dsht.link/d/4vyh
  23. Evanescence - The Bitter Truth (2021) [44.1kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Alt. Rock,Alternative Metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 47:14 Full Size: 562.25 MB The Bitter Truth is an epic, guitar-driven collection inspired by the (often-bitter) realities of the 21st Century and our world. The band's first original album in ten years, it's a return-to-force - and one hell of a rock album. The already-released songs have received early accolades from Elle, Billboard, SPIN, American Songwriter, and more, and showcase the "ferocious and hymnal" (The New York Times) sound that made Evanescence a household name, as well as the drama and powerhouse vocals that made Amy Lee "one of rock's definitive voices" (Rolling Stone). The Bitter Truth takes its foundation in the epic, signature sound that has earned Evanescence two GRAMMY awards and more than 23 million album sales worldwide beginning with their landmark debut 'Fallen,' and blends it with the thought-provoking lyrics, musical sophistication, and heavy themes that Amy Lee has become known for. Producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Deftones) has been tracking with the band in Nashville since late January. In a break from the past, the band will be rolling out a series of songs from the album incrementally, culminating in the release of the full album. Later this year, the band plans to tour through Europe on the rescheduled co-headline tour with Within Temptation originally scheduled for this month. Conditions permitting, the band will also continue to perform shows in other parts of the world, as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSwW3a3PzEQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_70nPC7iNg https://daofile.com/go/r3vpfjjrmnwv
  24. Adrian Smith & Richie Kotzen - Smith-Kotzen (2021) [48kHz/24bit] Country: UK Genre: Blues,Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 47:14 Full Size: 638.63 MB Recorded on the Turks & Caicos Islands in February 2020, produced by Richie and Adrian and mixed by Kevin "Caveman" Shirley, this nine track opus is a consummate collaboration between these two highly respected musicians who co-wrote all the songs and also share lead vocals and trade off on guitar and bass duties throughout the record. Exploding with powerful melodies & harmonies, the album embodies the spirited attitude of 70's classic rock with a melting-pot of influences ranging from blues, hard rock, traditional R&B and more, blending the pair's backgrounds and life experiences to result in a thoroughly contemporary sound. The record features special guest performances by Adrian's fellow Iron Maiden bandmate Nicko McBrain on drums for the track Solar Fire, and Richie's longstanding friend and touring partner Tal Bergman on drums for You Don't Know Me, I Wanna Stay and 'Til Tomorrow, with Richie picking up the sticks on the other five songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaTl8YNXLtE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIshEEF_qNM http://dsht.link/d/4vyg
  25. Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage Acts I, II & III 1979 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:55:05 Full Size: 4.96 GB Joe's Garage is a three-part rock opera recorded by American musician Frank Zappa in September and November 1979. Originally released as two separate studio albums on Zappa Records, the project was later remastered and reissued as a triple album box set, Joe's Garage, Acts I, II & III, in 1987. The story is told by a character identified as the "Central Scrutinizer" narrating the story of Joe, an average adolescent male, from Canoga Park, Los Angeles, who forms a garage rock band, has unsatisfying relationships with women, gives all of his money to a government-assisted and insincere religion, explores sexual activities with appliances, and is imprisoned. After being released from prison into a dystopian society in which music itself has been criminalized, he lapses into insanity. The album encompasses a large spectrum of musical styles, while its lyrics often feature satirical or humorous commentary on American society and politics. It addresses themes of individualism, free will, censorship, the music industry and human sexuality, while criticizing government and religion, and satirizing Catholicism and Scientology. Joe's Garage is noted for its use of xenochrony, a recording technique that takes guitar solos from older live recordings and overdubs them onto new studio recordings. All of the guitar solos on the album are xenochronous except for "Crew Slut" and "Watermelon in Easter Hay", a signature song that Zappa described as the best song on the album, and according to his son Dweezil, the best guitar solo his father ever played. Joe's Garage initially received mixed to positive reviews, with critics praising its innovative and original music, but criticizing the scatological, sexual and profane nature of the lyrics. Since its original release, the album has been reappraised as one of Zappa's best works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz_EeEN_YXQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPzvr9S34pc https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/66b1001550576
