2. The Flower Kings - Back In The World Of Adventures 1995 (2022 Remaster) (2022) 48-24 Country: Sweden Genre: Progressive Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:11:28 Full Size: 908.5 MB Formed by the ever prolific Roine Stolt (Kaipa, The Tangent, Transatlantic), The Flower Kings were actually born after the release of Stolt´s solo album The Flower King in 1994. Back In The World Of Adventures was the band´s first proper album together and was released in 1995 to wide critical acclaim in the progressive rock community. The line up on the band´s debut featured keyboardist Tomas Bodin, who was the perfect match for the adventurous Stolt. Saxophonist Ulf Wallander contributes his own special brand of magic to the mix while drummer Jaime Salazar keeps the rhythm together with consummate cool. "Roine Stolt's voice is strong, full, passionate, and delightfully accented. The Flower Kings' lyrics are heady, compelling, and hook city. The guitar work is extremely melodic and rates right up there with anything Brian May or David Gilmour has offered. Stolt is expertly meshed in this band with brother Michael on bass and voice. Tomas Bodin excels on Hammond organ, Mellotron, piano, and flute. Hans Bruniusson plays percussion alongside Jaime Salazar on drum kit, while Ulf Wallander guests on sax. The ten songs here are split between five instrumentals and five featuring great vocals mingled with extended instrumental bridges and a variety of sonic excursions. Each piece is a rocking, swirling matrix of multifaceted sound, with the opening "World of Adventures" a particular highlight. Take the best of Crack the Sky, Pink Floyd, early Genesis, and the slick cool pop/rock of Queen and Prince's 1999, mix everything together in the cauldron of Stolt's vision of world peace, and out comes a fresh batch of magic." Inspired by a mythic Persian tale of star-crossed lovers and emotionally driven by the isolation and disconnection of the pandemic era, I Am The Moon totals more than two hours of new music and will be released in successive months beginning with I Am The Moon - I. 4. The Flower Kings - Retropolis 1996 (2022 Remaster) (2022) 48-24 Country: Sweden Genre: Progressive Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:08:48 Full Size: 850.31 MB After their critically acclaimed debut Back In The World Of Adventures Sweden´s best loved progressive rock band returned in 1996 with the suitably retro sounding Retropolis. As the title suggested the music was a nostalgic nod to the 70´s, paying tribute to the bands that originally influenced them. The band was clearly beginning to build their own identity on this release with a mixture of bombastic epics and melancholic ballads. A feast for lovers of Hammond and Mellotron. "Retropolis is the album that brought the Flower Kings from an interesting underground progressive rock band to an act that simply couldn't be ignored by anyone interested in the genre's 1990s revival. Roine Stolt and consorts' aim for Retropolis was to dive a little more into vintage progressive forms (retro) and, indeed, this album is the most nostalgic and closer-to-the-roots-sounding of the band's catalog. From the Pink Floyd-shaped "Rhythm of the Sea" to the poignant Yes-like hymn "There Is More to This World," the Flower Kings sound like they are paying tribute to the groups that brought them to do what they are doing, without ever falling into plagiarism or sacrificing the band's own identity. "Melting Pot," "The Judas Kiss," and the powerful instrumental "Retropolis" are the album's other highlights. Very strong composition-wise, Retropolis lacked some cohesion. It is one of the band's most song-oriented albums (with The Flower King). In comparison, the following effort Stardust We Are will have a stronger identity but at times weaker material." 10. Florence + the Machine - High As Hope (2018) 44.1-24 Country: UK Genre: Indie Rock,Indie Pop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 39:56 Full Size: 431 MB The story started ten years ago for Florence + The Machine with the single Kiss with a Fist that revealed a certain feminism and a strong personality. For her fourth album High as Hope, the English singer steps into the big league with a unique pop that borrows from rock as well as baroque arrangements. She produced this latest creation herself, with the support from Emile Haynie who has produced the likes of Bruno Mars, Eminem and Kid Cudi. Needless to say, Florence Welch bet on the right horse! Her extraordinary voice reaches new heights on High As Hope. She effortlessly navigates between melancholy and reveries. She alternates between sweet lyric vocalizations and disturbing throat cries! A piano sounds the death knell on Big God, then a whole orchestra comes to life on No Choir. With the strings, keyboards and two talented guests, Sampha and The xx's Jamie xx, the intensity is at its height. Welch uses her music to create a wild and fantastic world, in which the listeners can truly lose themselves. Throughout the album's ten tracks, she deals with a general theme about her relationship to art and the voids it filled in her life. Voids created by her dyslexia, anorexia, as well as her addictive personality and disturbed sexuality. Hypersensitive, Florence manages to give birth to a tough and strong creation charged with emotions, and affirms her dual character, both vulnerable and dominant. © Anna Coluthe/Qobuz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAsssoSNOXo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GHXEGz3PJg Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/0f6b71a5-d2db-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
11. Wilco - Summerteeth 1999 (2014) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Alternative rock,Indie Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:00:17 Full Size: 2.3 GB Wilco evolved at remarkable speed after forming in 1994, almost immediately after the breakup of Uncle Tupelo. Their debut album, 1995's A.M., was an upbeat set of alt-country that bore few, if any surprises, but 1996's Being There was a major creative departure that moved far beyond the boundaries of roots music. 1999's Summerteeth was initially controversial among fans because it marked the spot where Wilco almost entirely abandoned the country influences that had once been the core of Jeff Tweedy's music. Instead, Tweedy and Jay Bennett, who had gone from being the group's guitarist to manning a massive bank of keyboards and becoming Tweedy's primary collaborator in the studio, concocted a stunning set of off-kilter pop, suggesting a Midwestern fusion of peak-era Brian Wilson and Big Star's 3rd. ("Pieholden Suite" in particular is a lovely homage to the Beach Boys' Smile, then still circulating only in bootleg form.) At the same time, this was brilliantly constructed pop music was also pop with a dark and troubling center; the violence at the heart of "She's a Jar" and "Via Chicago" is too blunt to avoid, and even the brightest moments ("Can't Stand It," "A Shot in the Arm," and "When You Wake Up Feeling Old") sound and feel emotionally out of balance, giving this a complicated emotional push-and-pull that reinforces the resonance of the performances. (The album's most lovable pop tune, "Candyfloss," significantly comes near the end of the set, bookended after a 20-second burst of silence.) While Wilco was inarguably Jeff Tweedy's band at this point, Summerteeth was the apex of his collaboration with Jay Bennett, even more so than 2002's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, and while John Stirratt and Ken Coomer were their strong, reliable selves as a rhythm section, it's Bennett's keyboards and production smarts that give life to a set of great, uncompromising songs. If Being There was the album where Jeff Tweedy embraced all that was possible with Wilco, Summerteeth was where he closed the door on the past and boldly stepped into a very different future. © Mark Deming /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZVoDJZBnS8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Tp2cxQ-rhQ&list=OLAK5uy_n3djIm29MEXLYb1xXmweTIAMFmyOWNZyQ&index=11 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/b9509e9d-ddd0-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e

16. Sinsid - In Victory (2022) 44.1-24 Country: Norway Genre: Heavy Metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 42:48 Full Size: 507.68 MB "In Victory" is a follow-up to 2020's "Enter the Gates" and is most definitely an album that will get defenders of Old-School Heavy Metal excited about it! Through the album's 9 non-stop headbanging tracks, an epic journey will unfold where fans will identify everything that made the genre great - anthemic choruses and solos, hard-hitting riffs and faith in Heavy Metal as a symbol of brotherhood and the fight against Evil. SINSID's new album shows the Norwegian quintet at its best, inspired and never so powerful. One thing that's more evident compared to previous works "Mission from Hell" (2018) and "Enter the Gates" (2020) is the more frequent use of the double bass drum. The band sounds as good as ever with an improved contemporary production which however still managed to maintain that "old school" feeling. Originally formed in 2012, SINSID's influences include anything from the blues and rock to metal and Viking or thrash but the very core of the band is, unmistakably, traditional heavy metal. The band's debut triumphantly introduced SINSID to the metal world and quickly gained the band a massive new following, with reviews referring to it as "good old, honest, working-class metal" and "couldn't be more metal if it was hammered over an anvil!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKg4lpWPamA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0JbFlGX0II Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/74ccqgdjyk4u/Sinsid.-.In.Victory.2022.44.1-24.rar

18. Simon McBride - The Fighter (2022) 48-24 Country: UK Genre: Blues Rock,Blues Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 45:53 Full Size: 593.2 MB Simon McBride got quite some attention during the last weeks. It was end of March when Deep Purple guitarist Steve Morse announced a temporary hiatus from Deep Purple live shows. Morse remains a full member of the classic rock icons but will spend some time for taking care about his wife who is battling cancer. Simon McBride is the guitarist who stands-in for Morse and maybe not everybody yet has heard of the guitarist from Northern Ireland. McBride started playing guitar when he was ten. At the age of 15 he won the title of 'Guitarist of the Year' in the UK and later joined Sweet Savage. McBride's musical career has many aspects including solo albums. With 'The Fighter' the next solo effort is ready to be shipped, a 12-song featuring longplayer with great rock- and blues-driven music. 'The Fighter' is a solid rocker, performed with passion and commitment. What makes the title track, but also the other eleven tunes to a great experience for rock fans is the authenticity. McBride writes lyrics and songs about dreams, life on the road and chances. What helps pushing the authenticity-factor to a '10' is that McBride is also singing these songs. Not only that he truly knows how to handle the six-string guitar. His rougher voice adds a lot of liveliness to each of the songs. McBride tells the stories of life and hereby allow the listen to establish an emotional connection. The singing guitar and the brilliant solos are hereby the emotion-strengthening elements. Songs like the touching 'Don't Let Me Go' are great examples for McBride's ability to add a lot of feel to his music. Simon McBride has with 'The Fighter' a well-done longplayer in the starting blocks. This music is fueled by rock and blues. It invites to a vivid and emotion-laden 46-minute journey through the blossoming charm of guitar-driven rock music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n44UYpGYyu4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm6Y88uPNmM Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/ztw6l6ek42ui/Simon.McBride.-.The.Fighter.2022.48-24.rar

21. Circle Of Silence - Walk Through Hell (2022) 44.1-24 Country: Germany Genre: Power Metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 56:45 Full Size: 712.47 MB "Walk Through Hell" is the fourth full-length album by Circle of Silence. For the first time, all songs were completely written in the lower C-tuning which gives it a heavier and overall darker feeling, much darker compared to the previous records. Circle of Silence are convinced that this is their greatest album so far, and that it will be loved by all fans of heavier and darker melodic power metal. Smashing double-bass driven tracks, earth-crushing groovers as well as epic hymns - everything a headbanger's heart desires can be found on this album along with many deep and personal lyrics. Due to the pandemic the band was able to spend a lot of time working on their songs so compared to previous records. Epic solos and lead guitars as well as vocals with up to 5 voices add some epicness to the new record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvmAl9qX_1c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq8RiRSjQFM Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/74nm5wvn8y3q/Circle.Of.Silence.-.Walk.Through.Hell.2022.44.1-24.rar

25. Florence + The Machine - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (Deluxe) (2015) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Indie Rock,Indie Pop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:09:45 Full Size: 1.55 GB The much-anticipated third studio long-player from Florence Welch and her mechanically inclined companions, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful arrives after a period of recalibration for the spirited English songtress. Arriving three-and-a-half years after 2011's well-received Ceremonials, the 11-track set, the first Florence + the Machine album to be produced by Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Coldplay), eschews some of the bombast and water- and death-fixated metaphors of Lungs and Ceremonials in favor of a more restrained sonic scope and an honest reckoning with the dark follies of your late twenties. This change is most notable on the workmanlike opener "Ship to Wreck," a shimmering, open road-ready folk-rock rumination on the ambiguity/inevitability of post-fame self-destruction that, unlike prior first cuts like "Dog Days Are Over" and "Only If for a Night," feels firmly rooted in the now. Whether it be simple maturity or Dravs' calculated production style, there's no denying that an effort has been made to dial back a bit on some of the pageantry of Welch's earlier works, and for the most part, her penchant for pairing mystic Bronte-esque pondering with similarly windswept pagan/gothic gospel rock is left bubbling beneath the surface. This attempt to reign in Welch's more histrionic tendencies yields mixed results, with some songs finding the sweet spot between bluster and nuance and others (most of them in the album's sleepy latter half) disappearing altogether. Of the former, the bluesy (and ballsy) "What a Man," the propulsive and purposeful "Delilah," and the gorgeous title track impress the most. Instead of building to a fevered crescendo, as is the Flo-Machine way, the latter cut, a transcendent, slow-burning, chamber pop gem, dissolves into a simple and elegant, yet still goose-bump-inducing round of horns, and is breathtaking without knocking the wind out of you. Whether How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful ends up being a transitional album remains to be seen, as there is enough of each side of Welch (the pastoral and the feral) represented to tip the scale either way. That said, her Brit-pop soul treacle is still miles better than some of her contemporaries' top-tier offerings, and when the album connects it moves right in and starts to redecorate, but when it falters, it's akin to a chatty party guest failing to realize that everyone else has gone home. © James Christopher Monger /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9v8jLBrvug https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgeKHTcufLY Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/0f6b71a5-d2db-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
