Benefits of Adobe Speech to Text
- Caption for all videos
Captions increase video visibility across platforms and increase viewer engagement, but their workflows have been complex and time-consuming. With speech-to-text translation, Premiere Pro makes video captions the new standard.

- Automated. Integrated. And completely creative
Speech-to-text automates transcription and subtitling while giving you full creative control over the results, including the full design power of the Essential Graphics panel.

- Impressive accuracy in 16 languages
Speech-to-text translation is available to users around the world, providing accurate results and more opportunities to reach audiences wherever they are.

- Built into Premiere Pro
Speech to text translation is included free of charge with your subscription, making it easy and effective to add value to your video.

- The assembly is based on the standalone Adobe installer version 6.1.0.587, which is not available to the general public.
- The Adobe Desktop Common module, which must be installed by the original installer, has been removed from the installer, with the exception of the required minimum.
- The Adobe Creative Cloud module, which is required to be installed by the original installer, has been completely removed from the installer.

FAQ
Question: It seems that the previous versions were 9.x-12.x. Why 2.x now?
Answer: Ask something simpler. This is how Adobe developers have fun. Fortunately, this will not come back to haunt them, since an ordinary user simply should not see the version of this add-on.

Question: I can't click the Continue button because the contents of the window don't fit in the window itself and the button is out of sight. What to do?
Answer: This rarely happens on crookedly configured operating systems. There is a TAB key on your keyboard. Click it to the desired menu item.

Question: The installation was not completed due to an unknown error. What to do?
Answer: Check out the explanation of error codes . I also recommend studying the installation log. It is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\Install.log. Perhaps here you will get more detailed information about the problem and how to fix it.

Question: I have a problem at the initial stage of installation, not described above. Can you give me some advice?
Answer: Try replacing the Set-up.exe file used in the distribution with the one downloaded from here .

Question: What does the choice of language in the installation options affect?
Answer: Premiere Pro is initially installed multilingual, that is, it contains not only the language pack that you use. The language you select when installing Speech to Text will affect what language Premiere Pro will display after installation. So if you do not want the interface language of your already installed Premiere Pro to change after installing Speech to Text, then select the language in which you prefer to work in the program from the list.

Question: Why was it necessary to exclude the Speech to Text modules from the Premiere Pro 2024 distribution?
Answer: They weigh a lot. Each 650 MB! Plus, initially everything is placed in a herd. Do you need them all?! Do you need a Premiere Pro distribution that weighs more than 12 GB when most of that considerable weight you will never use? I don't think it's worth it. That's why I moved the Speech to Text modules into a separate assembly and significantly improved their installation modules so that they can be installed individually according to your preferences, and not all at once.
