Description:
FilExile is an easy-to-use open source utility to remove locked files and folders.
All actions are performed in the main program window.
In the main interface, the user only needs to select the file or folder to be deleted from the system. To select an object, you need to use the browse button, the drag and drop technology, unfortunately, does not work. The program will appeal to lovers of minimalism, the most important thing is that it performs the tasks for which it is intended.
FilExile successfully removes files locked by other processes. The utility processes objects without problems even with long file paths and invalid names.
Additional Information:
The program includes secure mechanisms that prevent the deletion of important system folders and files, for example, in the WINDOWS directory. In the settings, you can switch to the advanced mode "Advanced mode" to allow the removal of such objects. Remember that you can delete important files and folders, which will affect the performance of the system and may lead to crashes.

In the settings, you can enable the display of events ("Show output") and the logging of actions in the log ("Enable Logging").

By default, the utility is not built into the context menu of Windows Explorer, however, in the "Advanced" settings menu, you can enable integration into Explorer by selecting "Enable Shell Extension".

Portable version of the program, works without installation on a computer.
