Vivaldi 5.0.2497.35 Dual x86x64 [Desatendido]Multi

Vivaldi es un navegador web basado en el motor Blink de Google Chrome que ha sido desarrollado bajo el mando del ex director ejecutivo y cofundador del proyecto original de Opera. Este navegador web quiere llegar al mercado como una alternativa más y plantar cara a los actuales líderes Internet Explorer, Google Chrome y Firefox ofreciendo un motor actualizado basado en Chromium a la vez que una interfaz rápida, segura y funcional para todos los usuarios.

Este navegador web muestra por defecto una serie de opciones y características útiles para los usuarios pero que, sin embargo, no están disponible por defecto en Google Chrome. A continuación vamos a analizar 5 de las novedades que están preparando los desarrolladores de Vivaldi y que no veremos en el navegador de Google, por lo menos a corto plazo.

Cambios en la interfaz

Vivaldi cuenta con cambios significativos en la interfaz, por ejemplo, la posibilidad de configurar la barra de pestañas en la parte superior, lateral o inferior. También permite configurar otros aspectos del comportamiento de la interfaz del navegador, por ejemplo, configurando la barra de marcadores o aplicando transparencia a las pestañas.

El menú de configuración se encuentra unificado en una ventana independiente, ordenado en categorías a diferencia de la configuración de Google Chrome.

Cuadros de búsqueda dedicados

La barra de búsqueda de Google Chrome se llama «omnibarra» ya que desde ella se puede introducir una URL, un término concreto a buscar, consultar el historial o cualquier otra acción.

Vivaldi sigue contando con una omnibarra, aunque también tiene un cuadro de búsqueda concreto para buscar contenido directamente en el navegador de forma que los resultados de la búsqueda no se mezclen con los de la barra multiusos.

Posibilidad de juntar varias pestañas en una

Las pestañas han sido sin duda una de las mayores revoluciones en la navegación web. Mientras que hace años teníamos que tener varias instancias independientes del navegador abiertas si queríamos visitar varias webs al mismo tiempo, con el soporte de pestañas es posible hacerlo desde una única instancia, estando todas las webs abiertas y accesibles desde una única ventana.

Ahora llega una nueva forma de trabajar con pestañas: fusionarlas. Google Chrome intentó implementar esta función en 2012 pero finalmente lo abandonó. Vivaldi ha conseguido implementar esta característica sin problemas y llegará a los usuarios con su lanzamiento definitivo para mejorar la navegación.

 

Si tenemos varias pestañas agrupadas es posible verlas al mismo tiempo en la ventana de navegación desde la barra de menú de la parte inferior.

Barra lateral con varias herramientas

Este navegador cuenta con una barra lateral desde la que podemos acceder rápidamente a varios aspectos del mismo, por ejemplo, a los marcadores, al correo, a los contactos o a la lista de descargas.

Gracias a esta barra lateral podemos ahorrar espacio en la parte superior al no tener que mostrar un menú desde el que poder acceder a todos estos elementos, pudiendo tenerlos siempre visibles u ocultarlos desde la barra inferior mostrándolos sólo cuando sea necesario.

Para finalizar, la barra inferior del navegador cuenta con una serie de herramientas adicionales para el control de las páginas que mencionamos a continuación (de izquierda a derecha):

• Botón para mostrar u ocultar la barra lateral izquierda.
• Botón para ver varias pestañas unificadas al mismo tiempo.
• Controlar las imágenes que queremos mostrar.
• Filtros de página.
• Barra de zoom.
