Both singer, songwriter and guitarist, has inspired the Brazilian bossa nova new colors that mix to the influences of reggae, rock and traditional Latin American. This former minister of culture has enriched and consolidate its music over the meetings and experiences.

Gilberto Gil today operates a homecoming with a last album entitled Gilbertos Samba album that contains ten compositions of Joao Gilberto, the father of bossa nova.
