Kirk Fletcher is considered one of the best young guitarists in the blues scene today. Born in 1975 in Bellflower California, Kirk began playing guitar at age eight after seeing his brother Walter playing in his father's church. At twelve he attended the Blues Festival Long Beach, where he saw musicians like Albert Collins, Bobby Blue Bland (accompanied by Wayne Bennett) and The Staple Singers.
