He was born in the neighborhood of Floresta, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1963. He plays guitar since age 9, but with his first paycheck battery, instrument studying with Daniel Volpini is purchased. His first band was drummer Prohibition (a band of Rock and Blues Nacional) .- It was in 1988 where he decided to devote himself to sell his guitar and drums and that is where form and even today leads the band King Size Blues ( which evokes and recreates themes of this musical genre) .- Over 25 years the band Daniel Raffo (now called "King Size Blues Project") became a real hotbed of musicians of various ages, now they have their own Local Blues career and often accompany foreign musicians. His latest production is the DVD of the 25-year-King Size recorded live with a band of 9 musicians. His first contact on a stage with a foreign musician began a jam in the 90s next to Taj Mahal, and then opening the show in Argentina Hubert Sumlin, then going to be many great guitarist Phil Guy (brother Buddy Guy), Raful Neal (father of Kenny Neal), Lorenzo Thompson, Eddie C. Campbell, Billy Branch, Eddie King, Bob Stroger, Tail Dragger, All Star Chicago with Willie Big Eyes Smith, Bob Margolin and Bob Stroger, Eddie Kirkland Shirley King (daughter of BB King), Duke Robillard, (the latter composed and recorded two songs for the album Daniel Raffo) and countless invitations with Rick Estrin, Jimmy Rip (product and Mick Jagger solo guitarist), Tom Principato JC Smith (in the same Chicago Blues Festival 2013), Dave Mayers, Little Mark Simmons, bluesmen Lurrie Bell and numerous other lands (Brazil, Chile, Italy, etc) .- Daniel Raffo just represent the country at the Festival South America's largest in Brazil Blues "Mississippi Delta Blues Festival" being the first Argentine Blues guitarist close the Festival on the Main Stage with two legends of American Blues: Henry Gray and Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater.- In the area Local participates as a permanent guest of the leading musicians of Spanish speaking, as the Mississippi, Memphis, Chevy Rockets, Sandra Vazquez, Don Vilanova Botafogo, Wire Gonzalez, among others, with side projects with some of them as Ricardo Tapia, Luis Robinson and Bariain Basque who travels the country with semi acoustic duos. Alternating his career with teaching, Daniel Raffo teaches the style in their classes, currently having on the local scene many guitarists who ever passed and pass their classes.
