RIP LV Banks -. 28 October 1932-2 May 2011 Guitarist / vocalist LV Banks. He died of heart failure on the morning of May 2 at South Shore Hospital in Chicago was 79 years.

LV was a wonderful musician and a popular attraction of the club in the South Side of Chicago. A solid spectacular guitarist and vocalist, his songs were firmly style Chicago and had a characteristic of their arrogance.

Born in Greenville, Mississippi in 1932, LV move to St. Louis to join the army, and by the 1960s was that landed in Chicago. Although very popular and respected throughout Chicago, never reached the great reputation nationally. His music has been well preserved for two wonderful CDs; Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear, and Ruby, both recorded in Chicago and published on the label Wolf Record of Austria. His musical legacy continues through the talents of his son Tre ', which has emerged in recent years as a known Chicago blues musician.
