Bonnie Lynn Raitt (November 8, 1949, Burbank (California), United States) is a singer and guitarist for Blues and Rock, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. In the past 70 years, a reporter from Newsweek Magazine saw her in concert with Fred McDowell, and many scouts began to frequenting their performances. He eventually accepted an offer with Warner Bros., who gave him the opportunity to make their first self-titled album. It was one of the first women to be recognized as a great guitarist.
