Sinopsis

En un pequeño pueblo de Corea del Sur que está a punto de ser inundado por la construcción de una presa, los habitantes han caído bajo el hechizo de un carismático pastor evangelista, quien les ha prometido un nuevo hogar y un lugar en el cielo a cambio de sus ahorros. En medio de toda esta corrupción irrumpe Min-chul, el violento y agresivo borracho del pueblo que acaba de salir de la cárcel, y el único que no parece caer en las mentiras y engaños del pastor como el resto de vecinos. Una falsedad en que todo el pueblo parece haberse acomodado, y algo que Min-chul no está dispuesto a permitir.
