En su nuevo libro "La Aldea", el escritor Gene, escribe sobre una antigua maldición. 500 años atrás, durante la Dinastia Ming, un hombre muere repentinamente. Su mujer Rouge, promete permanecer a su lado para siempre. Cuando el fallecido resucita inesperadamente, sus vecinos horrorizados creen que está maldito, y lo queman dentro de su mansión. Cuatro estudiantes universitarios deciden explorar aquella misteriosa aldea, luego de leer el libro de Gene, llegando a un antiguo pozo en la mansión de Rouge, donde se desatará nuevamente el infierno.
