Sin pretenderlo, durante su búsqueda empieza a destapar la tapadera que está encubrie do la mayor conspiración en la historia de Estados Unidos. En su investigación, Sean se cruzará en el camino de un ecléctico grupo de extraños personajes, entre ellos, el recién elegido presidente del país (Blair Underwood, Sexy Money); Sophia (Laura Innes, Urgencias), la líder de un misterioso grupo que ha sido detenido o su propio futuro suegro (Scott Patterson, Las chicas Gilmore), un hombre con muchos secretos. Todos ellos se verán implicados en una conspiración global que amenaza con cambiar el futuro de la humanidad. Los actores Ian Anthony Dale (Daybreak) y Željko Ivanek (Daños y perjuicios) completan el reparto de la serie.
