They play a variety of musical styles ranging from field hollers, old time fiddle and jug band to the more traditional blues styles as ragtime, delta, the piedmont and urban blues. He is led by guitarist and singer Joe McLerran, bassist Robbie McLerran, and special guest, Andre Lohren, drummer and member of the New Orleans band Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes. Through research and devotion to music, Little Joe became blues scholar and historian. After winning the competition of the International Foundation "Blues Challenge 2009" Little Joe created the quartet "Little Joe McLerran Quartet" and invited by the State Department of the United States toured Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman. Either solo or with his band, Little Joe has participated in numerous international tours and music festivals, clubs and concerts in the United States. It is also common to hear Little Joe playing in duo with his father bassist Robbie Mack. In the last week of March 2011 will have a tour of Paraguay, appearing in Asuncion, Encarnación and Ciudad del Este, sponsored by the US Embassy in that country, and the CCPA.
