Many developing countries arefaced with the challenge of reducing human exposure to heavymetals, mainly due to their limited economic capacities to useadvanced technologies for heavy metal removal Hence, we must urgently pursue the necessary treatments, particularly for ammonia and its compounds, to protect the aquatic environment.There are several methods to treat ammonia in polluted water, each with its own advantages and applications. Here are some commonly used methods like: Air Stripping, Ion Exchange, and chemical treatment.
