The new release brings many improvements, including a modern Pantheon desktop environment with additional features and improvements.The elementary OS shell provides a functional and laconic design, reminiscent of macOS with its signature dock panel. The system also features simplified navigation, which makes it convenient even for beginners. The developers emphasize that the distribution is free and open.
