In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of the Python programming language, along with programming best practices, through using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime set. Through a series of scaffolded lessons, students will learn to important libraries, how to use the hardware and software to control motors and sensors, use conditionals and loops to control the flow of your programs, and store data
using Python data types and variables. They will define and document their own custom programs, write scripts, and handle errors. Most importantly, students will have multiple and ongoing opportunities to use all of this knowledge in authentic contexts to practice and develop their coding skills in Python.
