1992. In the midst of the confusion reigning in the country, another unexpected test falls on the heads of the Kuzhlevites - residents of an ordinary Russian village, before which all the rest pale - this remote village turned out to be the place of the first meeting of people with an alien mind, and it is not the presidents and scientists who will have to accept the newcomers, but to ordinary peasants.

Aliens are in no hurry to make direct contact, gradually studying people through their desires, which are easily fulfilled inside a flying saucer. Not everyone is worth letting in, because in the whole universe there is no other species that would so easily make a bad impression on guests! The last word and the entire burden of responsibility for everyone who got inside remain with Valery Mikhailovich, the chairman of the collective farm and simply the most authoritative representative of humanity within a radius of one hundred kilometers.
