In Smalland: Survive the Wilds, the player takes on the role of a hero who has been scaled down under inexplicable circumstances. The protagonist woke up in the forest, not knowing if other people had the same fate. With a head full of questions, he begins a struggle whose goal is not only to find out the truth, but, above all, to survive in a new inhospitable world.

The player observes what is happening from a third person. Survival aspects due to the small size of the hero will be unusual. During the adventure, you will have to travel through a huge forest, which is a living ecosystem - the creatures living in it are a threat to the protagonist, not only because they can treat him like food, but also because they can steal the reserves that he has accumulated for later life. However, this is not about wolves, bears or other predators, but about animals that are not usually associated with danger, such as squirrels and rabbits (much larger than the hero) and ants (whose colonies can destroy the fruits of his hard work).
