Ghost of a Tale tells the story of the brave minstrel mouse Tilo, who set out on a journey full of dangers, hoping to get out of the dungeons of the Melting Towers fortress and learn the fate of his beloved named Merra. The plot of the game takes place in a medieval world where rats rule over all other creatures. You will find an epic and at the same time deeply personal narrative, combined with elements of classic adventure, action RPG and open world, seasoned with a rich and extremely realistic visual component.

With the mice's natural agility, stealth and camouflage abilities at your disposal, along with the minstrel's musical talent, it's up to you to explore the decaying fortress. From the spider-infested catacombs to the surrounding forests and lakeshores, you'll travel relentlessly to avoid threats lurking everywhere and uncover the secrets of bygone days.

Ghost of a Tale is made by a tiny team. Lionel "Seth" Gallat is the main author of the project, single-handedly creating 90% of the graphics, code and design. Paul Gardner is an experienced game designer and part-time game writer. Cyril Poliak writes the code and creates the necessary tools to get the job done. Jeremiah Pena is the composer of Ghost of a Tale. The sound is handled by Nicolas Titier. Illustrator Jerome Jacinto is responsible for all 2D graphics in the game.
