Welcome!
The flow of black ink can be very relaxing, and combined with painting repetitive movements can surely be a great way to calm our minds, and offer ourselves some self-care.
In this class, we will paint simple lines and textures, and use them to create beautiful leaf shapes. I will also show you different ways to hold your paintbrush and types of strokes you can apply. After the class, you will have the basics you need to be able to sit down and paint on your own at any time, while exploring your own shapes.
All you need is ink, a paintbrush, and some paper.
As our final project, we will paint a simple pattern by hand (please see project section for details).
You don't need to have any prior experience. And if you already paint, you might find the tips to be reminders, and some new shapes and ideas to add to your creative practice.
