Alex Varkatzas, Brandon Saller and Dan Jacobs founded 1998 Atreyu. Up to now completed as a quintet they brought out nine albums. The hard Shouts of Varkatzas and the clear song lines of drummer Saller make the sound diverse and suited for mass. Their tape name is descended from the „infinite history" from Michael end. Their songs refer over and over again to the fantasy history. However, the music of the Californians is anything but a child junk. An uncompromising Metalcore which is also not mean with society criticism.
