The fourth album of Coeur de Pirate, or Béatrice Martin, was born out of a difficult time in her life. After finishing her third album, Roses, and playing around 250 shows, she was exhausted, struggling with OCD and pushed to her breaking point. She told Exclaim! that she couldn’t find it in herself to write music:
I didn’t want to do music anymore … I was like, ‘That’s it. I’m done. I gave, I came. I’m tired, I was not made for this.’"

The album will be released on June 1st, via Dare to Care records.
