Welcome to a course on creating applications for messaging. This practical course covers the creation of iOS apps, which allows two types of extensions: messages and stickers.

Message extensions allow you to create applications or games that run in iOS 10 messaging app. This course is designed to show you how to create a message expansion or a standalone application, or in addition to a complete application. We will start with the basics of extension development messages, how they work, and their capabilities and limitations. We will also discuss how to work with auto layout to present the different kinds of controllers, and how to make the appearance of your application most closely matches what you see in the Builder Interface.

From there we will create a collaborative note-taking app from scratch, where the app can be used to edit the same note. We will also explain how to retrieve data from the messages app in your full application if you choose to make your extension add-on and not a standalone application. Finally, we will talk about sticker how to make sticker packs, and how to put the stickers in the messages application extensions.
