This video session covers Microsoft Active Directory group policy objects, or GPOs. We will cover what we can use GPOs for and how they improve the management of diverse and separated systems by centralizing our efforts at the domain controller. We will look at local group policies and how they differ from GPOs. We will also discuss Organizational Units, when to create them and why, and how we can use them to distribute succinct policies to specific users and computers in our organization. Lastly we'll create some GPOs, apply settings to them, and test to determine whether they work as intended.
