Essential Anatomy 5 contains over 8,200 highly detailed anatomical structures. Each structure contains an audio English pronunciation and Latin nomenclature, along with a detailed description. Navigate directly from the model or use the search function to intuitively find structures. Helpful comparison tools allow you to isolate individual or multiple structures and compare them with others. Bookmarks allow you to create and save custom views, and with the pin feature, you can create customized pins, add notes, and place anywhere on the 3D model.

 

Male and Female Models

Explore and compare differences between male and female anatomy. Completely distinct models allow for even greater detail on gender-specific structures and models can be easily switched with just the tap of a button.

 

11 Complete Body Systems

Essential Anatomy 5 contains 11 complete systems which can be easily accessed from the main screen. These include: Muscular, Skeletal, Connective Tissue, Venous, Arterial (including the Heart), Nervous (including the Brain), Respiratory, Digestive, Lymphatic, Urogenital and Skin. Clever functionality found within the app allows the user to strip away layers of muscle via the 'layering' tool.
