Fenton Robinson was born on September 23, 1935 in Greenwood, Mississippi, and like many bluesmen, lived his early years in a cotton plantation and corn, where he discovered music thanks to radio and programs like "King Biscuit Show," where he could among others listen to T-Bone Walker and Gatemouth Brown, two of its main influencias.Y like many other bluesmen, and rudimentary built his first guitar with the usual cigar box, until he could collect the $ 13 needed to acquire an acoustic Stella in 1951.
