Whirlie Records is proud to announce the DVD release on 26th September 2011 of Transatlantic Sessions Two. Produced by Pelicula Films Ltd as long ago as 1998, rights issues have until now prevented Two from joining its sisters in the Whirlie stable. For some, the new release will be a long-awaited welcome back, for others a pleasurable hello to some unique musical combinations. Nanci Griffith, Ricky Skaggs, Maura O'Connell, Paul Brady, Eddi Reader and John Martyn are just some of the stars getting it together with the Sessions House Band under the musical co-direction of Aly Bain and first time in the job Jerry Douglas.
