Sinopsis

En un plazo de cinco años el Sol se apagará, y con él se extinguirá la raza humana. La última esperanza de los hombres es el Ícarus II, una nave espacial tripulada por seis hombres y dos mujeres, cuya misión consiste en llevar una gigantesca carga explosiva que insuflaría nueva vida a la estrella y le permitiría volver a brillar, salvándose así la población de la Tierra.
