In July 1992, the stadium Balaídos of Vigo, Spain. hosted a two-day festival, which included performances in its program of Tracy Chapman, BB King, Gilbero Gil, Willy Deville, Dr. John, Celia Cruz and Tito Puente, and Milton Nascimento. Had little public response.
This did not stop the King of the Blues, deploying its bluesy soul with his guitar Lucille.
Afroamérica 92 The festival, produced by the Sociedad Estatal Quinto Centenario, a Friday began in Vigo, culminating on Sunday, at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, with the celebration of the Mass or Missa two brothels of Black America.
The festival was broadcast live on La 2, TVE.
