Sinopsis:
Un detective investiga un asesinato y comienza a sospechar de un adolescente recién llegado a la ciudad que se rumorea tiene extraños poderes. Su jefe no cree esta teoría y se niega a seguir esta línea de investigación a pesar del terror dentro de la pequeña comunidad. Un juego mortal del gato y el ratón se desarrolla a medida que el adolescente se acerca más a la hija del detective. Mientras tanto, las muertes horribles siguen a su alrededor. Un sacerdote que parece entender más de la cuenta sobre el mal, se involucra en el caso para ayudar a resolver el misterio.
