Un detective investiga un asesinato y comienza a sospechar de un adolescente recién llegado a la ciudad que se rumorea tiene extraños poderes. Su jefe no cree esta teoría y se niega a seguir esta línea de investigación a pesar del terror dentro de la pequeña comunidad.
