Description

Bookends performs Internet searches to retrieve references and associated pdfs from PubMed, Amazon, Google Scholar, JSTOR, Web of Science, and hundreds of university libraries (some sites may require access privileges and ip authentication). Immediately find and import references for which you already have the pdf.

Versatile groups (static, smart, and virtual), Term Lists (keywords, authors, etc.), the cross-reference (links), multiple notecards per reference, tag clouds, and near-instantaneous live searches help organize and find information in your personal collection. Highly configurable displays let you view the reference information and attachments the way you want.

Scan your documents in word processor manuscripts to create comprehensive lists and bibliographies to post notes. Bookends is compatible with Word (2004, 2008, and 2011), Mellel, Apple Pages '08 and '09, Nisus Writer Pro, OpenOffice 3 and any application that can save RTF files.

Sync your library, including PDF files, with Bookends On Tap (available separately for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store).

• Fixed a bug that could cause shattered reference metadata appear in the reference list.

• Fixed a bug where the issue of the Notes field in the main record the Notes field is not updated in the Notes tab.

• Fixed a bug that could cause an error occurs if you have edited a tag while the tag cloud shown below, click on the tag cloud.

• Fixed a bug that prevented the exploration of the year to be output when the switch used a subpoena - year only (%) and had the pages cited.

• Corrected a bug where the font size of scanned text citations format would be different from the paragraph style sheet.

• Fixed an error in capitalization exclude words where words that consist of a single accented character is ignored.

• Fixed several errors in conversion cases involving Title case and sentence case.

• Fixed a bug that resulted in citations if scanned malformed Word document twice in the same session, with Author-Date format.

• Rating stars in the list view can no longer appear as white on a white background in the references that have been assigned a color label.

• Fixed an error in the finding in this reference.

• Fixed an issue that prevented drop text onto a current note to be added to new notecard.

• The pages cited work once again scanned text files. Bookends Server works again.

• Fixed an issue where a Find / Replace with styles can change the style of an entire field.

• Fixed a problem where JSTOR search would be done a second time to make it successful.

• Corrected the BibTeX output for é escaped.

• Import metadata in Web of Science Bookends Browser works again.

• Key Field, if listed reference will automatically update if you use Refs -> Generate BibTeX Key.

• Fixed a bug that has always used the last name of an author if a secondary field order format was content, even if the said popup Bookends use the same format as the first name.
