En un futuro no muy lejano, la integración de presencias robóticas entre los humanos hará posible que surjan, por ejemplo, androides programados para cuidar personas mayores. Esa es justamente la solución que encuentran Hunter y Madison para su anciano padre Frank, cuyas pérdidas de memoria son cada vez más frecuentes.
