SINOPSIS: Patience Philips (Halle Berry) trabaja como diseñadora gráfica para una empresa de cosméticos, dirigida por el despótico George Hedare (Lambert Wilson) y su esposa, la supermodelo Laurel (Sharon Stone). Se entera por casualidad de un terrible secreto sobre un revolucionario producto de belleza que está a punto de ponerse a la venta y es eliminada por unos sicarios.
