Sinopsis

Will Montgomery (Nicolas Cage) es un veterano ladrón de bancos que, tras ser traicionado en un atraco, es condenado a 8 años de prisión. Cuando sale de la cárcel dedide dejar atrás su pasado criminal e intentar reconstruir su relación con su hija Allison. Pero, inesperadamente, Vincent (Josh Lucas), un antiguo compañero, secuestra a Allison y le exige a Will 10 millones de dólares a cambio de volver a verla con vida. Con sólo un día para conseguir el dinero, a Will sólo le queda confiar en su instinto y en su antigua compañera Riley (Malin Akerman) para dar un último gran golpe que le permita recuperar a su hija.
