Fort Casey, un puesto avanzado de La Federación, es atacado por los bichos. El equipo de la nave incursora Alesia es asignado para ayudar al Starship John A. Warden con la evacuación de los supervivientes, así como para devolver a la inteligencia Militar sana y salva a la Tierra.
