SINOPSIS

La vida del doctor Richard Kimble es casi perfecta: es un reputado cirujano, tiene una bella esposa y una casa de lujo en un elegante barrio de Chicago. Pero su mundo se desmorona el día en que su mujer es brutalmente asesinada por un misterioso manco. Kimble es acusado del crimen y condenado a la pena de muerte. Cuando es trasladado a la cárcel, el autobús donde viaja sufre un accidente de tráfico. Varios prisioneros consiguen escapar, entre ellos el propio Kimble. El detective Samuel Gerard, encargado de capturar a los prófugos, consigue atraparlos a todos excepto al escurridizo Kimble. Una vez en libertad, Kimble sabe muy bien que si quiere probar su inocencia, antes deberá encontrar al verdadero asesino. Y, perseguido por Gerard, inicia la búsqueda del misterioso hombre manco.
