Cuando un inexplicable desastre mundial arrasa el mundo, causando fallos en los dispositivos eléctricos, un grupo de estadounidenses y británicos de visita en Moscú se verán atrapados en la ciudad. El caos asola cuando la población empieza a ser perseguida y asesinada por una fuerza desconocida. Unidos por el miedo, se las arreglarán para encontrar un refugio subterráneo sobreviviendo con lo que pueden.
