Digimon Tamers es la tercera serie anime de la saga Digimon. Esta temporada fue transmitida en Fuji TV, reemplazando a Digimon Adventure 02. Comenzó el 1 de abril de 2001 y terminó el 31 de marzo de 2002, con 51 episodios y dos películas estrenadas en cine.

Digimon Tamers es la tercera temporada de Digimon diferente a la de su predecesora, un mundo parecido al nuestro donde los Digimon son una franquicia de juguetes y una serie de TV. Un grupo de niños de 10 años, Takato, Henry y Rika, se alían con sus propios Digimon, para poder detener a los Digimon Salvajes que intentan invadir el Mundo Real, y detener a una sombría organización del gobierno, que también va contra los Salvajes, aunque con propósitos diferentes.
