Plot: Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares. Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king’s hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man’s conflict. They remain powerless to stop Hyperion…until a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) comes forth as their only hope. Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes…

 

Un nuevo peligro maléfico amenaza la Tierra. Enloquecido por el poder, el brutal rey Hiperión (Mickey Rourke) ha declarado la guerra a los hombres. Después de reunir a un ejército sediento de sangre formado por soldados que él mismo mandó desfigurar, Hiperión quema Grecia a su paso, mientras busca un arma de poder inimaginable: el legendario arco Epiro, hecho por Ares en el Olimpo. El hombre que posea este arco podrá liberar a los titanes, que llevan encerrados detrás de los muros del monte Tártaro desde el principio de los tiempos y claman por vengarse. En manos del rey, el arco significaría la destrucción de la raza humana y la aniquilación de los dioses. Pero la ley prohíbe que los dioses se entrometan en los conflictos de los hombres. Nada pueden hacer para detener a Hiparión, hasta que un campesino llamado Teseo (Henry Cavill) les devuelve la esperanza. Zeus encomienda en secreto una misión a Teseo, la de salvar a su pueblo de Hiperión y sus hordas. Después de reunir a un grupo entre el que se encuentra la visionaria sacerdotisa Fedra (Freida Pinto) y el astuto esclavo Stavros (Stephen Dorff), el héroe deberá encabezar la rebelión si no quiere ver su patria destruida y la desaparición de los dioses.
