SINOPSIS:

 

 

Bobby Walker (Ben Affleck) parece haber alcanzado el sueño americano: tiene un buen trabajo, una familia estupenda y un espectacular porsche en el garaje. Sin embargo, cuando la compañía para la que trabaja decide reducir plantilla, tanto él como muchos de sus compañeros se quedan en el paro. Sus superiores Phil Woodward (Chris Cooper) y Gene McClary (Tommy Lee Jones) poco pueden hacer para ayudarle, porque tampoco ellos tienen asegurado el futuro en la empresa. Bobby tendrá entonces que replantearse su vida y su papel como marido y padre.
