Historia de un escándalo de corrupción policial, totalmente verídico, protagonizado por la división Rampart de la policía de Los Ángeles. Droga que se perdía por el camino (incauto 100, entrego 90, vendo las otras 10), pruebas falsas (una bolsa de droga por aquí, unas huellas incriminatorias por allá) malos tratos a los detenidos (diente va, golpe viene), escuchas ilegales y otras corruptelas varias.
