idaniel89
Survivor All-Stars Season 8Mark Burnett confirmed that two people turned down formal offers to appear on the All-Stars edition of Survivor — Elisabeth Filarski Hasselbeck from The Australian Outback, who had recently taken a job as a co-host of The View, and Colleen Haskell of the show's premiere season, who "had moved on with her life" and "just genuinely didn't want to go through that again." There has also been speculation that Survivor: Thailand winner Brian Heidik was asked to appear on the show, but he would only do so on the condition that he be paid a substantial sum for his appearance regardless of his standing in the game. Survivor: Pearl Islands winner Sandra Diaz-Twine also confirmed that she turned down an offer to join the show, saying that she was still recovering from parasites that she received at Pearl Islands.[1] Survivor: Marquesas winner Vecepia Towery was pregnant at the time of the show's filming, ruling her out of the game automatically. Jon Dalton has claimed that he also turned down an offer to appear[2], and Jenna Morasca, winner of Survivor: The Amazon stated that her fellow tribemate Heidi Strobel had also turned down the offer to appear on the show.[3] Burnett jokingly said that "the casting was really, really scientific. I got a yellow legal pad and wrote down 24 names, and [then] cut down to 18. It was that quick."[4] Some of the Cast: Tina Wesson (born December 26, 1960 in Knoxville, Tennessee) Winner of Survivor: The Australian Outback. A married personal nurse from Knoxville, Tennessee, Wesson outlasted 15 other players to become the first woman to win the $1 million prize in 2001. She did not have any votes cast against her at Tribal Council. To this date, Wesson is the oldest female ever to win Survivor, being aged 40. Wesson returned in 2004 for Survivor: All-Stars, where she was the first person voted off the show. Rudy Boesch (born Rudolph E. Boesch on January 20, 1928) is a former Navy SEAL. After receiving 1420 on his SAT, he eventually went on to graduate from the honors program at the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcasting in 2001.[3] Cesternino wrote his college senior thesis on "The Impact of Reality Television" and received an A. The prize was awarded after a nationwide popular vote in which Boneham received 85% of the votes cast. Jenna Lewis (born July 16, 1977) was a contestant on Survivor: Borneo (season one), finishing eighth, and Survivor: All-Stars (season eight), finishing third.
