Este importante enclave inca permaneció oculto durante 400 años, hasta que el explorador Hiram Bingham dio con él en 1911. La falta de registros escritos sobre sus orígenes y su historia rodeó la ciudad de un velo de misterio. Hoy, casi un siglo después, el enigma sigue cautivando a infinidad de visitantes y científicos.
