En su camino de vuelta a casa, se detienen en una gasolinera, y se sorprenden al descubrir la lectura de los carteles "cerrado indefinidamente debido a la crisis de la gasolina". Ahora están atrapados en un paisaje solitario y a muchos kilómetros de su casa, sin gasolina suficiente y en un paisaje incierto donde tendrán que luchar por sobrevivir.
