Sinopsis

 

 

La película se centra en la historia del rey Jorge VI del Reino Unido, quien se vio obligado a reinar tras la abdicación de su hermano Eduardo VIII. Su tartamudez le hace buscar la ayuda de un terapeuta de trastornos del habla, Lionel Logue, quien con una serie de técnicas poco ortodoxas logra que el rey recupere su correcta voz.
